I fished during a couple of these fiascoes. Couldn't deal so went elsewhere. There was a guy... maybe 45 yo, all geared up (Orvised and Beaned up) and he was just cranking in 15" fish and feeling really great about it and yelling to his buddies. When he finally got them unhooked, he'd drop them on the beach and kick or flip them back into or toward the water with his foot ... sometimes two foot lifts were required. I watched this for a couple of fish and then real loud I asked if thought he might be able to bend over and actually pick the fish up and carry them to to water. He said he would next time. What a sport. Maybe he didn't want to slime his waders. Idiot. I left.

Look at this clown in the brown sweat shirt throwing a fish like a superstar, people who fish like this should never catch a fish ever again, there is no fish god. you can see the fish next to the guy in the orange jackets head

That's me

It's not the bait
At the end of your line
It's the fishing hole
Where all the fish is blind

Situations like this are great for introducing newbies to the sport though, nothing like catching a few shorts on their first trip out to get them hooked. It seems like if somone gets the skunk on thier first time out, they never want to come back with me. If they catch "somthing" their first time out, it is much more likely they will want to come back out.

I really try to make sure my buddies hook up with somthing the first time I take them out, even though it usually means sacrificing my own cow hunting time, it is worth it if they get into it. Newbies always think "sneakers" when they think "fishing".

I saw that brown- top clown too Bob & first laughed, then got sick!

Is he releasing a schoolie... or practicing for the next Olympics' Discuss throw competition?

But don't worry Bob, you will get your wish: I predict that unfortunate Bass is that guys' last for '07! I don't expect to see him throwing 3 oz. wood or Eels in the deep night anytime soon!

The sad thing.
There are a lot of kids in the photo.
Great to see dads taking them fishing.
Teach them to handle the fish properly and respect the future of the resource.

This weeks fisherman had a good eridorial with in the surf fishing reports by Capt. Don....

Even if they were 40 pounders all day long...I would not fish in that!

I think someone is dragging it up the beach. There is line coming out of its mouth. Don't want to get the jeans wet.
