I caught my first bass on MV. When I joined I wanted to use a vineyard name and I always like the name squibnocket as well as it's nickname squibby. I have caught a few fish around there too 17 was my number in Soccer and Lacrosse in highschool

Because the only way to eat a blue is to smoke it for 5-6 hours, and blues seem to be what I catch most.

I play guitar and I'm a fan of Blues music. Fishin' Blues is a song by Taj Mahal (a Mass. native, btw).
Blue fish give it a double meaning, which is cool.

after fishing on the vineyard for a while and starting to pull in some nice bass, my uncle nicknamed me gunpowder because i was really slammin the bass. the got nervous that i might beat the bass he has mounted on his wall so he thought i was on an explosive run to beat him and hence got the name. the name stuck and now all he calls me is GP.

The night I registered here on S-B I had just seen the re-run of the "Assman" episode of Seinfeld.

my sn also has multiple meanings. Originally a reference to
" Blues" music. Sister plays Bass guitar, ex brother in law was
front man and harp player. We also had a softball team
called the Bedford Blues back when i could still run.

I have a wife, two daughters, two female dogs, I work with along side two female supervisors, my immediate boss is female, I have a sister and no brothers, and our two cats are female.
Luckily the wife and daughters love fishing.

Taj used to sing for my uncle's first band at Umass in '61, called the Electras.
Actually he used to hang out with the band in the house that Rappin Mikey is currently renovating.
I was also in 1983...luckilly for me, hadn't started to drink yet.
Johnny Ducketts, that name sounds awful familliar...where'd you go to school??? Got lots of childhood friends from DY and later Garber's Gorillas.
Wow, this thing just keeps getting better.
Later,
Rick

Oh yeah, hey Tuna,
Always thought it was Provinceton Truro Mike (my bad). Funny what you interpret the handles on here to mean.
One of my other favorites was the old "mountainbars" who I found out later was "mountainbreeze."
chris L has always been chris L to me, though.
Later,
Rick

Slick - because I can talk my way out of a paper bag if needed. Moedee - there must have been a Cool Mo D tune playing back in HS so Slick became Slick Moedee. Stuck ever since.
