ASTROTURFING
it's pretty interesting if you get a chance to read some about it...it's what David Axelrod does when he's not running political campaigns..
"You've probably never heard of ASK Public Strategies. It is the highly secretive, private sector-focused twin to David Alexrod's political consulting firm AKP&D Message & Media. Axelrod, of course, is Barack Obama's chief strategist. Through ASK, Axelrod "discreetly plots strategy and advertising campaigns for corporate clients to tilt public opinion their way," according to a new BusinessWeek investigation."
there's much more to it, very extensive ....involving the use of the internet to create phony email accounts and websites, organizations and emails to demonstrate far more support for a product or cause than actually exists...
there has been extensive discusion of this on a Hillary website by a woman that went to work for Obama and has clearly spelled all of this out regarding the campaign strategy to "CREATE" a much larger Obama love fest than actually exists, skew polls, inflate new voter numbers and dispirit the other side....
hmmm...Zogby has McCain "UP" by one point in his one day Friday polling and I heard an interview with Rasmussen, both outfits, I believe, have stopped nationwide polling and are only polling the 12-15 states the will make a difference next Tuesday...
if you watch the mainstream media they're counting down to the big party, it's all over and Obama should be chillin' the champagne and practicing the acceptance speech.....
is it possible that much of America and the very cooperative mainstream media have been "ASTROTURFED" by a real pro?
doesn't matter, just interesting... but if this has been the case and you factor in (or out) the effect of astroturfing together with the racists and rednecks, angry Hillary voters, conservative democrats, and the "youth vote" that just can never seem to get their butts to the polls....it could be interesting on Tuesday.....
of course, the media and the intellectually lazy will blame voting machines and voter intimidation and racism if McCain somehow wins.....
at least we still get to vote despite the winner already being declared.....
