...thats my exact thought on using this lure. It seems the bAss are feeding on hErring in the SpRingtIme...& bAby bunKer in the fAll....(what the heck is an aDult bUnker anyWays ) ..is that the stuff you buy frozen >> ....I'd think this lure would work OK for the times inbetween...it pains me to say this butt...blue-crabs are abundant during this in-between time...

I wouldn't use this during the HERRING rush...or the fAll miGration...there's so many better offerings.

...by the way, how many herring did you find in that belly? I think your right....8 crabs to 1 herring..although I DON'T think you meant it that way ,,,

bloocrab- it looks like a "sweet bread" to me. not the bakery term, but in a cow term.

damn, all of those pictures are pretty helpful, but nasty.


BM, do you leave the eddy stone in the water or do you just cast and retrieve?
