Who did that?

At PlugFest, the beaded eel on the contest table. It haunts me in my sleep....

This year. Looked like it would swim like a snake. Really great piece of creative thinking. I want the builder to have his due credit before I make some.

The head reminded me of a Tagger skin swimmer in fact. Followed by a string of maybe 3/4 inch wooden beads and a long conical tail.. I wish that I'd picked it up and studied it, took pics and blueprinted it. If anyone got a picture of the contest table, please help a guy out....

Thumbs up

I think that the eel balls plug is awesome! Please post a video if you can, I don't see why anyone would be upset. Stunned maybe, but not upset... Bravo!

a little vid

I am posting this for m+m

Here is a quick video of the snake in action, the gold version was used because the black one was not showing up on the video. Not the best quality maybe will take more when my good camera gets fixed.

clicky linky!

How did you produce the tail?

Masterfully done! I have been going nuts over how to make a jointed eel design to make it swim like that. My hat is off to you!

must be some sort of chain running through all those bead pieces, with a larger than normal through-hole?

at least thats where I would start I think.

I think there is a FW lure that uses the same concept, it's made by MS Slammer. Amazing concept, looks like a beeyotch to make
