6-29 tuna

Headed east for a half day tuna trip and a half bass trip with a few friends. Got out to the area we wanted to fish and were welcomed by a ton of whale activity and birds all over. The sounder was lit up with bait and tuna. We deployed the spread and a little while later we had a mid 60's inch fish on the deck and smiles all around. My friend Steve did a great job on the rod. We headed in shortly after the bite died to try the rips and found many bass willing to take our offerings. Most of the fish were 26-30" but was fun and a great way to finish off a great day on the water.

I was a couple clicks north of Scooby Doo on Saturday night. Last of the outgoing and had a nice pick of fish on eels. No real size, but they were stacked up in the rip. I think plugs drumming in the current would have been the call.
