Get my gear more organized. Get lathe up and running, it's a Shopsmith.

Hey Nightfighter...I just set up my Dad's Shopsmith that he bought in 1956. I got it about 10 years ago but have never plugged it in. It has a bunch of extra stuff with it and I'm really looking forward to getting some projects going with it. So far have just sharpened a bunch of tools.

Spitting firewood for next year. Have 4 cords on the ground that need to be bucked and split. Need to buy a log-splitter as I am getting too lazy to hand split 3-4 cords a year. If Cali. doesnt burn this Nov-Jan plan on taking the wife to Costa Rica as a college graduation present, but the damn fires always screw with my plans.

Split four cords of wood and stack it, get everything left in the garden inside (beets, some beens, peppers), have two rooms to do over for the wife, build spray booth, finish the celler cleanup/do over, find leak in a couple of pair of waders, make plugs, fix three rods that suffered fishing the canal this summer. Wrap a new SSU blank I have, dig out all the compost inside the bin (which is about eight feet across), start a brand new compost bin, new steps in the buldhead, first tearing out the crappy sheetrock and strapping the builder put in place 30 years ago, Start a regular regimen at the Y around the corner...........................and blah blah blah. Thats enough for now.

I'm ahead of the game, boats put away, gear is cleaned and stowed, I applied winter gaurd to the lawn and tilled , mulched and limed the garden... I've got to wrap a new blank if I find one I like to replace one I broke on the last trip of the season...

I've got to trap more shiners for Ice fishing..

I've allready picked up where I left off last April with my plugs, I epoxied a mixed dozen Slope heads and conrads for the spring run( a year late)... took a few to get my paint skills back ( I HATE painting) ... I've got a bunch of Pikies for a swap I need to Epoxy.. when I get these done, I want to make some predators and a large batch of the Pinkney inspired sand eel plugs that have been hot for the last two seasons...

Hopefully ice fishing by late December.... then count the days until plugfest!

A good run is better than a bad stand!

Getting back into shape.

Hitting the mountains. When fishing ends snowboarding begins.

Get that second job I've been putting off for about a year or 3

Turn some wood, pour some plastic and surf a little. Maybe start looking for a girlfriend
