My son won a raffle plug, got some stuff that was owed to me and Jake manage to sweet talk a few nice plugs out of a couple different guys. Overall we ended up with a Professor M, Slipknot, Chefchris, ODMike, Texican, Rockfish, Happy as a clam, and the raffle plug was a BidD needle. Thanks everyone. I will not be at TFCTFN, have a blast.

great gesture Ted and you other guys

I just wish we would not have to do this at all.
I would hope the thief turns the bag of plugs in when they realize they took the wrong bag of plugs

if anyone has any info or saw anything please PM me.

I'll be in for some replacements too if they are not returned.

I'm really pissed about this and feel really bad for the kid whoever he/she is

Bag was located, sorry for the over-reaction

What are the details, or is this rumor?
Whose kid lost their bag?
If true, we can easily set this right.

I have not heard of any child losing a bag of plugs?? Just one of the builders had a favorite plug grow legs at shows end and he was looking for it. No biggie...we can make more but it sucks when someone helps themselves to something that does not belong to them! There is one in every crowd!

the plug in question was located, all is well

I got a ton of stuff, I wouldn't know where to began.

I tried spending more time looking at jigs, xrays, and everyone else's stuff besides hanging with my stuff. Just to much to take in such a short time. Nice to talk about plugs with others rather then being stuck in the garage talking to myself about plugs.

I think the cctackle folks knew what happened to the little boys bag. They were saying it got shipped to RI by accident. It was G2h's son.

Me, too. I think we should take a collection and all chip in to buy a Paul a cheeseburger. That ought to help make it right.

The missing plug bag belonged to the litle boy who was sitting on the floor with Felicia Thomas. From what I'm told the bag of plugs was under Mike's cash register in a box. Apparently someone had a large order and it was packaged in THAT box and taken away. Hopefully when the person who received the box will realize it and try to locae the rightful owner of the bag. I know if it were my son he would be devastated! Its awesome that everyone, including me is willing to make a collection for Jayden, but we shouldn't have to. Lets wait a few days and see if the bag turns up before we jump to conclusions and assume we have a thief. We are all in this together and it bothers me that we have to even think like this.

Also great to meet JohnR and Slip.I still can't believe I won best rookie builder, there was some amazing talent. Thanks everyone

If the kids plugs don't show up, I'll send one along as well. It sucks to hear about something like that happening.

Thanks for the concern guys, but not needed. My sons bag was put in a USPS box of lips going to RI, probably by my son. Box was under the register, when it came time for the guy to leave, he just assumed it went with the box. Totally innocent. Mike called him when he got home, guy said he had already dropped the box off at the shop and would check today. This morning Mike told me, he had located the plugs, and that he would send them out on Monday. Sorry for all the fuss. Don't want to take away from another great plugfest.

Rockfish9s' darter demo was insane. Always leave learning something new.

OK, everything is fine with the missing bag of plugs.
Hookedagain is right about the mixup.

I just heard from George - G2Hook
he said mike got in touch with the customer and it will be shipped out on monday

it was just a misunderstanding

he'll get the plugs back

all's well that ends well

now we can get back to the regularly scheduled thread

I just haven't had the time to make more than 2-3 a pop at a time so I really didn't have anything to swap, I wish I had, there is some sick plugs being displayed.

I do however want to personally thank the 2 guys who gave my little dude a few plugs, I'll post some pics when I get home, The Large swimmer he got has not left his hands since Saturday, I know it's properly hydro oriented as it has been in the tub every night with him. I even got woken up to the sounds of a 2 year old crying as he fell asleep with it in the crib, and couldn't find it when he woke up.

Thank you all for your generosity. I really gotta get building now for next year.
