now it's decision time.. tough out the itch of the new stubble coming back in, or keep it mowed...always something...

Steve take some nitro before you watch this

This was the first one. It took 6 minutes rough and finish/cut out. I think I can cut this in half with a bit of work on the keyboard.

You would luv the new machine we got this week, 50 plus inch X table ,thru spindle coolant, 12,000 rpm, Haas.

So this wicked wicked WICKED smahhhht engineer dood was in the shop today. He looked at the golden banana and saw a different way to manufacture it than I did. Instead of milling 2 sides and pocketing the middle.....mill it as one piece with the top down...then sand the top edge to a profile...then things like drilling the belly etc can be written into the file.

Then you'd just have to drill front to back and the rear weight side to side....

Stay tooned

Anyone ever tried to put a metal lip on the front of one of these? I'm thinking this profile would swim really wild?
