Hardwater Traps
That's quite a collection.
I just picked up a box full of tips at an flea market. 2 are Riverside Mfg. Worcester, MA and about ten are home made vintage and crude. I can't figure out how to rig them. Here's some pics. Any thoughts on rigging?
I'll give you a couple if you want some "Folk Art".

can't use them lead balls anymore... so they belong in a museum

you need an antique WOODY now
to drive around to ice fishin spots ;o)

like I said he has more than he should be allowed. Bet he hasn't dragged them out in 2 decades or more. Probably added to the collection since last time I saw them too. Hoarder. Buried next to the furnace. Merry X mas .

Nice , the best part is finding out how they work , yours is simple , looks like you need some weight or snow to keep it up / right or slam it in a crack in the ice maybe , back in the day they did not have gas powered anything ...lol

No power or hand augers... just axes. saws..or some sort of chisel and lots of muscle...
Nice score!
my first ice cutting device was a tire iron mounted ( by hose clamps) to an old rake handle... no wonder my shoulders are junk!
