I never saw the originals or read the books(contemplating doing it now), but I thought the movie was awesome. Great imagery and Trent Reznor doing the music was killer (dark and ominous like you'd expect). Can't wait for the next one.... Oh for anyone who doesn't know, definitely NOT kid friendly....
