Larry, get to work, I want to see the CCBC stuff, you know I like that stuff. Also let us know how you make out on the CC Surf Darter, I have a few turned all a little different. when I get some time I need to test with several weighting patterns. Right now I need to get some big plugs done, big bunka will be here any day!!

I finished the last two I was working on, and started two more for a fund raiser at my son's High School. The two completed are a realistic Crappie glide bait made from 7/8" maple, 5 1/2" long weighing 3oz. It is a slow sinking glider dropping at about 1 foot per second. I like to use these type baits when fishing parallel to a nice deep weed line, say 14'. Toss it out, count down to 5-7 feet and begin that slow tap cadence walk the dog at that weed line, just defying those ambush predators to make a move. That's a blast! The other is a much smaller popper made from WRC, 4" and 1oz, should get those large and smallmouth bass moving all season.
