Was out this past Monday w/ capt. Dom and it was like an episode of blue planet out there. Herring, mackerel bass zooming up from 190 feet to slam dorado sliders. We spotted Charlie feeding in a quick froth but like that they were gone.

Poor Dom, he's been out every day. I can't imagine how much fuel he's burned.
If anyone deserves the first one, it's him.

This forecast is a killer..the next week is a blow out.
time to fish the beach and continue to make headway on one of the many boat projects.
Know of a couple boats making the run east yesterday (Friday, June 1) heard of two fish caught...82" and a 62"
Anyone head out opening day?

We went out with Dom the next day.
Saw tons of life, whales, basking shark, more bait than I ever saw in my life, amazing quantities. We had one take and the line wrapped on the motor and fish was off in seconds. I had a bump on a jig, line went tight and fish dropped it. We worked hard but didnt land anything. I envy you guys that get out to fish for these fish, it was one of the best days I had on the water.

That would fit both the description of the the boat and the fish could have easily been that BIG!
