True that line casts like dream, but I can't trust fishin it at night. I find if the line ain't gonin on with tenion you'ld better have your handy dandy nail clippers BLOO's Clues! lol I 'ld rather fish big game and change my line more often ( that stuff aint cheap )

....Goose, you gotta give it a chance.....it teaches ya how to use it......I had plenty of "nesting" at first......but now....it hardly happens.....you get to know the feel of your retrieve.

I wish I had bought that reel instead of the penn .I'm pickin one one this year, I ve often fish with my brothers and I love it, I can lay into it most of the time and have no problems.I'm gonna put it on a S glass from Lammy 11'6"

I'll always fish with Mono.....ya can't go wrong, but the Braid is in a league of its own.

.....when I fish, there's always a backup reel with some mono on it...for when the goin gets ruff...but your right, it ain't cheap!...and I am definately not a "ROCKAFELLER"...

Do you own a 4400 or 4500? I got a 8' custom I built last year to throw 1/2 to 1 1/2. Theses newer reels can be hard on the wallet, plus they don't hold chit for line. I got ta keep it lite, I to got a couple 5500'S, reel is to heavy on that rod. What do you think about the mega lite, freind told me he had problems with the roller.
