You know I gotta say a few things here.

Right now I'm pretty steamed cuz Dave YOU got BIG nuts to say what you did here. My new needlefish is MY design, it came out of hours of work to get the shape I wanted. It actually started when I was doing a new template for the MAKATI design I been doing for the last 6 months on the lathe. I needed a new template for the new duplicator and started to do it but decided instead to change the front of it instead. NOTHING whatsoever to do with your stuff. Neither is the stubby 1 oz one that PRECEDED the 2.5 oz one. Your needle I have here is so far different it's laughable.

And for the record I can account for every needle that has been done, so I know who had what to SAY. All I'm going to say is SAD
Shame on you for publicly ripping something I spent hours and hours designing and getting the weighting right etc.

And shame on you for trying to discredit me on my Danny swimmer to begin with. It's like I said in the private mail to you before....I considered you a FRIEND. But you are so short sighted all you could say is I copied YOUR plug. WRONG. Wanna come see the cut up blanks? Gibbs and LEX? They're HERE.
Anyone who can say that they haven't taken something apart to see how someone else did something is lying. It's HOW you make your product BETTER. It's HOW YOU LEARN. Wanna compare the plug lengths, lip placement, lips, grommets, SHAPE,, hook size, hardware, weight size and technique? They don't match.

All it seems you wanna do is publicly trash my work. SAD.

You copied Beachmaster from what I can see....does he or anyone else rip you publicly?

Get off your high horse. I'm off mine.

Will you guys both take your horses elswhere please.

Bassmaster, people are growing tired of your whining about others copying your stuff especially me.

#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&, your multiple posts teasing him with you bragging about cutting up his plugs whether it's true or not don't fan the flames at all I'm sure You know it doesn't take much to get a rise out of him.

Both of you need to grow up and act like adults. We have a seventeen year old here that makes you 2 look like you guys are still in diapers Maybe I should ask Christian to moderate the forum if it's OK with him and John.

#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&, this is a pretty bold statement = "Anyone who can say that they haven't taken something apart to see how someone else did something is lying."

Are you specifically referring to saltwater plugs used to catch bass and blues? Is this just someone that is only in it for the business end to do it commercially?
I personally never took apart a plug to copy it, usually you can tell where weighting is and measurements are easy to take without having to cut something apart. I have heard of Xraying plug also. I'm sure many others haven't cut up plugs either. but I must be lying

This is directed primarily at the commercial & semi-commecial guys (commercial as in selling stuff anywhere) . Lighten up - all of you... Feels like late February in here after a couple months of cabin fever.

You're all (somewhat) full of crap (well almost all) - how about that? You all get on your high horses yet you all do a little bit to needle and stick each other. You all (almost) do. Now people are getting a little tweaked, are you suprised? "This guy copied my stuff".... "You ripped off this guy"... "You never turned a lathe until last week"... "Your plugs suck" - I'm actually laughing now, waiting for Willy to get knocked off the jungle jim. - Step back and look at this from 100 feet away. You're taking the fun out of it - for others AND YOURSELVES. Just relax a bit & lighten the eff up. Things will be a little more reasonable and enjoyable.

This I will also say, you all do some nice work, you are all very competitive, and there is room in the plug market for all of you. Beating your chests and beyotching at each other here won't do much positive for you other than maybe make you guys look a little silly. I'm also not going to referee this crap other than to say that once the humor washes off, it looks a little stupid.

I have a lot of respect for all of "you". I talk to you all and have seen and fished your works and have had your stuff pilfered from my plug bags. I've fished your gimmes when I've been too broke to buy eels (the best plug ). I have forgone my favorite eelage and dedicated nights to "your" stuff and liked doing it & caught FISH and LEARNED new things. I have respect AND grattitude to "you" guys. I sincerely wish that YOU GUYS would lighten up a bit...
