Slip any help I can be just let me know. There are a number of places in the Falmouth area such as the Knights of Columbus hall on Brick Kiln Road ( easy to find) And the Portugese Navigator's Club on Sandwich Rd, ( also easy to find) and then there is there the Order of Eagles club behind Main St Buzzards bay ( where the have the breakfast all you can eat buffet every Sunday morning). That place would be Ideal as everyone knows how to get to the canal and Main St BB. Just some ideas. A hall might not be available before Xmas though what with the Holiday coming up. Also, I will see if Stifftip can bring something to put in the Brownies!

Oh yeah, wherever it is they gotta be cool with people bringing lathes and such and making a lot of sawdust and have ample outlets. Also Maybe On the Water could help out.

Sorry - just saw this thread! Works for me though 11/22 will be B-day parties (including my son's) so I would need to bow out of that weekend...
We don't have much for site reserves but I can certainly kick in a fifty towards a hall rental (because of the fund raisers you guys have done )

I think if we find a place and hammer out a date, everyone can pitch in a couple bucks towards the hall fee and blueberries afterward (making sure people will help clean afterward )...
This has been a lot of fun for all the years Slip & the Boss have held this at their house for everyone (and S-B ) and I think slip rightfully doesn't want the boat to be found as a wood source

I think Flap brings up a valid point, if you are going to do a hall, after the holidays would be easier to line one up, and would probably be less dough. Also, most of us have a free-er schedule then.
I'd be willing to buy a ticket in the spectator/student section, kick some in for grub/rent, and mayby bring something from my smoker.. (no, not what some might put in the brownies )
And if Flap can get OTW involved, awesome!

Think that would be the best time, Bruce. Hard to get free time between Xgiving and Xmas.
My gosh it's already winter.

Hey Slipknot I'd love to come along and I can throw a few bucks into the kitty for hall or such. As far as location, There is a very cheap hall in the home of saltwater fishing (Woonsocket, Rhode Island) LOLOL But, I'm sure after the holidays would be much better for getting it.
Armand,
ps. that is if broomsticks are allowed
