I have a squid plug that Jigman made and he gave it to me, I think it is worthy of showing. Have you gotten any from him? I can give it to you on the 21st along with my donation to the project.

Hi eelpunt,

Thanks for your entry for this project!

I received your wonderbread plug yesterday, and I have to tell you that it was well received by my 2yr old daughter...

Every time a package arrives for this project, my daughter Rachel runs up to me and says

"Daddy! ... Fish Box!... Fish Box Daddy!"... I then proceed to open the package and my little one asks to touch the plug, and then proceeds to kiss them and pet them...

it's a sight to see!

It takes all I have to keep the hooks out of the way when she does this!

I know many fishermen that will have the same response to this project once it is making it's way around!

I just wanted you to know that your plug was voted as most kissable by my 2yr old! It must have been the colors!

She has done this for every plug that has arrived so far, however, moreso for your entry... and it is on it's way to becoming a tradition in my home...

So those who are thinking of sending one in, take comfort that your creations are receiving TLC right out of the box!!!

Thanks for your entry, and thanks to all of those who have sent one of theirs in, and to those who have contacted me about doing the same!

I'm hoping to hear from many others who are willing to come on board!

Shipping yours soon Capesams?

You're doing some sweet stuff!...

Thanks Eben for the glass popper you donated last night!

I'm trying to find a way to attach some hardware to it for the display!

I was thinking about the needlefish you had mentioned, and I think that the one you gave to Capesams is more like the one that should go into the case!...

What do you think?...

Either way,

You do great Work!

Mr, Frances... It was great speaking with you the other night!

I look forward to seeing more from you in the future!...

Thanks for helping me out with the adhesive numbers I'm looking for!

"GOT JOINTED?"...

For those who are willing to add jointed creations as well as those who have not yet signed onto this project by sending in one of their own home made plugs(jointed or not), please feel free to contact me anytime...

My phone number and contact information is on the first post of this thread...

I'm hoping to see many more creative additions come in for this display!

Thanks!

No Steve,

I am looking for numbers to put next to the Plugs inside the case as an identifier that will match an entry in a book that will accompany the display...

Those plugs are too beautiful to destroy with adhesive.

Capesams,

That jointed plug is very interesting! Especially the way that it is jointed!

that's definitely a different way of doing that!

I have really enjoyed seeing the plugs that you have resurrected from the past!

I find them to be as fascinating as they are unique!

WOW!!!!!!!!!

I have to hand it to you Capesams...

You make one hell of a Plug!!!

When this jointed creation arrived yesterday, it was greeted with the usual kiss from my two year old daughter just as I got it unwrapped...

And as I held this plug up to look at it, I was absolutely blown away by the workmanship that you put into your lure creations.

This plug has really given me a sense of respect for the time and effort, as well as the craftsmanship that goes into putting these Plugs together.

Magnificent work Capesams!...

And rest assured, this beauty will hold a prominent place in the Plug Project display case...

Unbelievable!...

I really admire your work Steve.

Thanks for offering one of these so that everyone will be able to enjoy seeing it first hand.

The pic's you posted don't even come close to showing how awesome your work is.

Hi Karl,

I'm so glad to see you had decided to be part of the Plug Project!

I appreciate your contributing toward this collaborative collection.

Please feel free to take whatever time you need, as I appreciate those like yourself, who have decided to contribute to a growing legacy of plug builders everywhere.

By the looks of your first batch of plugs, I'd say you are going to catch many fishermen as well as bass on your lure creations.

I hope to see you in August at the Plug event being hosted by BIGFISH

Thanks so much for your PM

Don

(I wasn't sure this PM got through to you...)
