Things done at the last possible minute are done with the greatest possible information. Procrastination is, therefore, the most efficient means of doing things.

The Boat Guys Have My Respect!
Just for the record, not me giving the boat guys the rub! Just got my copy of The Fisherman and had a look. Pretty cool! Nice to have a little early January "Glory" to warm me up a little. I am a surf guy through and through, got sand running through my veins but always a good time getting out on a boat and doing some fishing with the boat guys who do it all the time. BasicPatrick and Capt. Mike from Ave Maria charters can tell you a funny story about a guy they know who fishes the surf and spent a day fishing with Capt. Mike on the Ave Maria....right guys? I am not too good at fishing from a boat, not really comfortable because of my size! I need a little more room to roam than most people do! Fishing from a boat can be alot of fun though....right Fisherwoman?

Slingah, you see, he does not deny it is the lurkers fish.
The brush is pretty slow this month but Feb looks to be gettin quite busy.
The chick...i mean lurker needs to stop polishing those reels and come defend his partner

Hey, BF, just having fun with ya - that is a nice fish.
It's great gettin' a full page photo with your catch in the Fisherman, too
I fish from the rocks 99.5% of the time, but as far as boat fishing goes, catching fish beats the hell outta not catching fish any day of the week.

And Crafty.....
I am with you 100%. I am a beach guy who gets in a boat once in a while. Boat fishing is fun and very efficient.
That is why more fish come out of a boat. Not because it is cheating.
Some people don't get it.....

Thanks Shore Manic and Beachwalker and Crafty Angler for the kind words. Much appreciated! Poor BasicPatrick....try as you might I do not think you will get "Joe the Lurker" to come on board (though I think if you put a thread up trying to get him to come out, he just might)! I have tried to get him to sign on but he is a little stand offish! He likes to see whats going on though!
