karl.. I'm no expert but I think you wanna spin plugs as fast as possible because they are so small... If you were spinning something wide, you'd want to slow down...
Since you have to move belts around, turn all your blanks and once your done, back the belt down to make it turn slower and sand them all...
Again.. I'm new to this, but I know you want to go FAST

Thanks Eben.. I remember know that fast was what the guys said at the plug thing. Takes less than a minute to change belt around, so no problem

Pretty cool, can get all parts for saw, but I can't find extensions.. I'll keep looking... you put a 2 horse motor on yours! 3/4horse is stock. more power grunt grunt grunt
