Sorry to hear that Jules - my wife's uncle took his own life though he was older. It's a painful thing to deal with.

I remember reading about a year ago a piece from the OpEd pages of the NY Times - the writer told the story of a friend who had taken his own life and his pain and confusion over it. The last line of the piece was - (I'm paraphrasing here) - "May the good Lord in His mercy bestow on him the forgiveness that he could not give himself". I thought it said alot -

My thoughts and prayers are with you.

"There is no royal road to this heavy surf-fishing. With all the appliances for comfort experience can suggest, there is a certain amount of hard work to be done and exposure to be bourne as a part of the price of success." From "Striped Bass," Scribner's Magazine, 1881.

My prayers are with you during this trajic loss, I agree with my friend Goose. Prayer does help when you feel alone and miss someone.

Juli, that's terrible. I'm sorry to hear about this and hope for the best for all of you.

Alot of second-guessing by family at times like this, but everyone should stay strong and work through it together.

I had a box of animal crackers the other day. The box said 'do not eat if seal is broken.' I opened the box, the lion was OK, the elephant was OK, sure enough, the darn seal was broken.
