When the Blues chop them up, let the line out and let the left over chunk settle. Lazy fat Bass sometimes lay down deep awaiting the chunks. BINGO!

Hey FISH OR DIE---I would get the large rattles from Stamina for the 5 or 6 inch shad. They are about 1/2 inch long.
Also you can get some 3/4 inch glass vials at a craft store like Michaels,put in some BBs and epoxy close. They do break easier then the pyrex from Stamina though. Defenitley worth the effort!

They do get inhaled, so I usually file the barb down so as to make a release possible. Many hooked deep in the throat. Not sure whether color matters. Ran out of bunker, threw blue with no difference on hook up rate, at least in the fall frenzy......
