Way to Go Dave. Keep up the good work. Good things come to those who work hard to get them.

For GS and others: The title of the article is Catch a Cow Striper and talks about the best place………Cape Cod. It goes on to talk about summer feeding grounds, holes, bars and prime structure. 30 pounders don’t get much notice, 40 may get a nod, 50 may make the paper. Talks about boat fishing and then…….surf fisherman… Among the best is Dave Manzi, a part time guide who consistently scores on big bass from the surf on plugs he often builds himself. Fish during the day in late May & early June and after dark in the summer. Then work the new moon tides after dark in Sept. & Oct. He mentions sweet spots and what’s hot….Large wooden Danny & pike plugs, and prime time is late spring and early fall.
WOW....I typed all that !!!! Just for you guy's. Find the magazine and save the article for autographs.

They seldom do a saltwater article if you liked the piece email or write F&S and tell them so - maybe they'll run more.
David DiBenedetto the guy who wrote On The Run is the articles editor for F&S.

Got my issue in the mail yesterday. My hat goes off to you Bassmaster. Joe you right they should run more saltwater stuff. But I still love reading the magazine and I don't even own a gun.
