Thumbs up

Success finally, actually it was my first time out. Been scouting but when I saw that the fiddlers were out and jellies were in the water yesterday I knew the signs I had been looking for had arrived. Lot's of silversides after dark. Very last hour of daylight on a warm day with a southwest wind. Six hits three landed all bright silvery clean fish, not a lot but it will get better as the days go by. Looks like trout fishing is over for this spring!

Why even try.........

Freshies in the Wareham area saturday. They came and went in about 45 minutes on a dropping tide. Between my brother and I, probably caught 30. Went to the same place today and same time based on tide, not a thing except a lot colder/more windy.

To my dad out on Sat down to a couple of early season spots in Ri and CT in the last place we hit before going home fishless we struck paydirt. Between the 2 of we stopped counting at 70 a piece all of them were fresh little (10"-18") schoolies

What a great day! I have been hoping to get him into some good fishing but this was better than I could ever imagine.

Trip # 6 in last eight days...finally the wind was the same in the Buzzards Bay area as it was in Hull...four nice bright tiny SB for each of the two of us....clouds came in, wind shifted, fish were gone....saw "topwater" from the boards, he was too late

fishing wareham

I fished wareham twice, once off the pier and the beach, both fri and sat late afternoons to no dice, and fished falmouth too before wareham on fri, and there was nothing...

both times, not even a bite, nary a nibble.

Am gonna try again next weekend...

A dude I spoke to who stopped by the spot I was fishing in said he caught mad schoolies the night before. *shrug*
