Heading out to MV tomorrow early for a day of fishing on my boss' 29 Luhrs. I'm overdue for a good day of fishing so I hope this is it.

I'll be there
when I was stationed in Korea in the Air Force we used to have a pig roast once a month and I'd stay up all nite cooking the pig and drinking beers, and then pass out about an hour before it was ready for eating. Musta cooked a dozen pigs and only got to eat the leftovers
fishin tonite till sunrise, get a few hours of sleep then heading to Annual family BBQ/drunkfest

Is it good, or is it Sofa King good?

Saturday: Family from Conneticut and California are coming over
Sunday: Hopefully take my first trip of the year to Piermont Pier on the Hudson.

When I caught my first bass I was hooked more than the fish.

Be careful out there, Clamma - me and Zeke got chased off the rocks at 1 AM when the wind picked up and pushed the swell up a coupla feet in real short order - ya gotta know when to fold

Me, lessee...gotta take it easy tonite, shooting tomorrow, bobbing for blackfish Sunday AM if I can get outta the rack...

Or eels after dark Sunday nite....

My plans were to be on the way north, but health issues are delaying that, really f'g bites I so needed a week off. But considering I'm winded just walking to the office and I haven't sleep much in two nights, driving 7-1/2 hours to set up camp in what looks to be another banner week weather wise, just didn't seem smart. I'd drink myself to sleep, but I can't dilute the meds, can't win either way ack, ack.

Team Ave Maria was suposed to fish one of our favorite local tournaments this weekend (James P Kenney Memorial), but.....ring ring...

I gotta mate for Captain Mike on Saturday and then on Sunday....Captain Basic takes the helm and runs the boat for the week Mike is away....
