Good Times

It was good to see Goose for a second year and meet Toby (tlapinski) for the first time. They put in their time and earned their fish.

I came up a little short myself with a 44" on the lure and 31" on the fly, both an inch or so short of victory...but who can complain about a dawn blitz of big bass in rolling surf among friends...

We had a record turnout of 70 competitors which has lead to some talk of capping the number of entries for next year. Jono at the Avalon put on a first class awards barbeque for the competitors and Tlap won the grand prize of a boat charter with local guide, Asa Lombard.

We'll do it all again next year...
