And remember save just a little of that crab meat for your stuffing for baked stuffed lobster and yes your Thanksgiving turkey.

Or if you're like me you can go shoot a wild turkey or a goose and use that crab meat stuffing and stuff 'em.

Mmm Mmm good!

When I was a kid we used to ride our bikes out to the ***** ****** and get tons of bloo crabs.

The Italian lady next door used to cook them in a sauce (or gravy, if you're a real Itralian) - I'll swear, if I close my eyes I can still smell it cooking. The aroma alone would make your mouth water...

That recipe of yours for the mud sauce doesn't sound too shabby either, Steve - I'm gonna print it out for Mrs Crafty to see.

Bloo, check your PM's - I'm gonna see if I still got the technique down.

"There is no royal road to this heavy surf-fishing. With all the appliances for comfort experience can suggest, there is a certain amount of hard work to be done and exposure to be bourne as a part of the price of success." From "Striped Bass," Scribner's Magazine, 1881.

It can be done with lobster shells as well, but isn't nearly as good.

Also, if you save shrimp shells (just put them in a bag in the freezer till you have a bunch), it doesn't hurt to throw them in with the crab shells as well.

a good trick to measure crabs is to take a plastic clothes hanger and cut a section out of the middle the size of a keeper in your state. ya wont get bit and its nice and easy.

Everything is better on the rocks.
