It was a slow weekend, but on a good note, we discovered Redlights fishing secret while rummaging his plug bag:

I had a great time out there, nice meeting you Tony O. and 5/0 Bob. You guys can tow the line, walking those miles with piles of boulders under foot. Loved those stairs on the southwest, 145 in total I think I saw one of Chrispy's lungs at the top of the stairs, guess that what happens while dragging a 28# bass to the top

I'm beat.
It was a FUN time. Too many laughs. A GREAT group of guys. When the fishin is disappointin, always good to have a "Plan B" to fall back on. Tony and Bob, great to finally meet you two. Good folk in my book. Look forward to gettin together some more.
Thanks for puttin it all together Rich.
Once we got back, was weird driving more than 30 MPH and not driving down the middle of the road to avoid deer poachin with the truck.
An enjoyable, laugh filled, SAFE trip.
At least there were no seals over there to blame it on. Was amzed at the lack of other people fishin over there.
Congrats to my partner Krisp on the big fish of the weekend.
We all earned every fish we caught.

Just wanted to say I had a great time last weekend. Thanks to all who organized the trip. I did not get to spend as much time with the guys as I would have liked but I was doing the father thing with my son Matt. He was kind of star struck meeting Rich and Toby and the other guys. He thought your vehicles looked like a Navy Seal comando fishing operation. I am still seeing rocks in my sleep and my Korkers are basically destoyed. My son thinks it was funny to see his father knocked off a rock and swimming around for a bit. Although I did not do too well, I learned a lot and will be better prepared next time.

Rob, it was great seeing you and meeting son Matt. Bringing Matt out to the Block is a very cool thing to do. Glad you guys could make it. We all did a little slipping and sliding out there in the wash. I think Redlite (Mike) was floating around out there. I heard something about perched on a rock casting eels, then washed off and a redlite bobbing in and under the water.
It was all great fun, just wished the cows were in.
