Marc you have to go to Cuttyhunk!!! In an 1 1/2 hrs. I caught more fish had more hits then just about 2 trips to Block Island!
Nothing against the Block, just seems there are never any fish around when I am there.

For the fall run I think I will be wielding a paint brush, how exciting.

try the new haven register , I dont know of any other papers to check out . I know nothing about rents . I do know the rents are cheaper here than in FF . Look in New Haven ( certain neighborhoods only ) or stratford ( anywhere not bordering Bridgeport ). just a suggestion !

Gonna be in Montauk beginning of next week for our annual father/son "trek to tauk." I'm the son in this pair...Anyway it should be a nice trip. They usually are...my dad and I get away from work during the week and avoid the weekend crap and get a chance to just be two guys pounding the beach! Man I gotta tell ya, this guy sure keeps up with me...Last year we got out to Shagwong armed with darters when it seemed like a north gale wind was blowin' in our faces all nite. We had fun. Kept him there from 9 PM til 6 AM and he didn't squeak once...wait a minute....that's probably where I get it from.....

The usual stomping grounds are Brezzy Point/ Rockaways and the immediate surrounding areas like the 37th jetty in Coney Island and Gravesend Bay..
Anyway the rest of the fall run is usually spent in some haphazard unplanned way...like "hey, you wanna hit Montauk this weekend?" or "let's go hit Breezy Point tonite."

I do plan on fishing Sandy Hook quite a bit with my boy Chris and friends...and also plan to hit the Great Kills area in Staten Island a bit more now that I've made some new aquaintences thanks to the good ole internet

Well, I finally have my boat ready (after about 6 mos. of restoration) , just a little tweaking to do. So I will finally start the fishing scene - so needless to say I'm pretty excited. That and some time off due to this booming economy I'll finally get to wet a line. Now, where to go ................

I personally will be doing more in the way of hunting in the fall. My father and I will be out every weekend. Some more house browsing, prices are starting to fall. Looking for a boat also, hopefully a 17' -23' center console for next year, I am too skeptical about using my 16' aluminum out there.

Hopefully I'll spend the fall run in the "Ready Position" as Saltheart calls it. Maybe it's time to bring that thread back up in the limelight.

I'll be hitting the ditch alot I think.

Hey John,,,
I had already made my reservations with Bill & Juls when Frank got the house along with my vacation schedule with work...Hoping to bring my sons "90" Bronco over but I checked it out today and its not going in 4+4...Its a push button 4+4...Having it checked tomorrow...Nothing like waiting till the last minute...If not I too am trapped in a boaters body...lol..
If possible I would like to keep my old name...Dad of Squid Kid..thanks John...Are you able to make it over this year???

I'm going where I'm going...

It's not looking good for MV this year and there are fewer and fewer rabbits to pull outa da hat...

I'm going to give it one last ditch shot or I'll just need to suffer fishing the porkchop
