I did not expect sympathy or agreement. I was wondering other's thoughts on it. And thank you for tat advice. Ot's either the Navy or the Coast Guard. Or woods Hole.

To me that Devil Dog had a good clean kill.
Rhodyflyguy, if you want the Navy, go to be a corpsman (not selling the Chief short, don't know what he does.) When you complete that school go to the FMF school and upon completion, ask to go with an infantry unit. Breathe some dust, eat some dirt. Sleep in the mud and watch out for snipers and IEDs. Make some patrols and save some lives and then tell us if he was wrong.
