Guys,
Thanks for all your support, this has been the toughest experiences I have ever had to go through (and we aren’t done yet, but then again are we ever done). Most of you don’t know me or my family and for you to respond means a lot to me and my family. My father is a member here also so I’m sure he will read all of your nice words.
My mother dedicated her life to raise two sons, I am the oldest. I had the best mother I could have hoped for; she taught and raised me to be the person I am today. She put up with three guys; she was the only woman in our family. She sat through our constant dinner conversation during the past 20 years that centered on fishing. She would just grin and nod her head. She went out fishing with us a couple times but it is safe to say that it was not her cup of tea. I do have a great picture of her with a striper that she caught with me several years ago on a tube and worm. I’m not fly-fishing purest you might think I am.
So be thankful if you still have your mother and remember to tell her often that you love her.
Thanks guys
Eric

My father found the picture of my mother with the bass, so I posted it.
Thanks again

Very true words Eric. I can appreciate a mom doing all she can for her kids. If there is anything we / I can do, including aquatherapy from the boat or shore (they will be around when you are ready).
Mr Thomas, we have not met but certainly have our condolences as well.
Great picture, great memories, find peace. It will come, takes a while sometimes but it will come.
