Working all weekend. Long hours sorting the mail for
Santa.
Hope everyone has a great X-Mas !

Santa spends his summers fishing on Cuttyhunk.
His favorite spot is Church's beach on the east side of
the island. Hope he doesn't see this i would be fired
for burning "his" spot.

Luck is the product of Design

BI Jeff once told me he fished with Santa at Cutty. The only secret he said Santa let on was the power of injection molded plastics. I'm still trying to comprehend this one

Well, we're doing an Open House Saturday and Sunday for The Angler's Art, so I'll be at the ranch all weekend - so come on down and join us for hot cider and fish stories if you're so inclined - John said to mention it and let folks know.

Not only is Saturday FIsher's birthday....it's also Mrs. Crafty's birthday....boy, I've gotta get really clever with a gift this time

Hmmm.......I was thinking of getting her a new set of waders....no, really, ladies waders..she started fishing with me last season....I dunno, maybe that's not romantic enough....aw, for chrissakes, I'm not good at this stuff...

"There is no royal road to this heavy surf-fishing. With all the appliances for comfort experience can suggest, there is a certain amount of hard work to be done and exposure to be bourne as a part of the price of success." From "Striped Bass," Scribner's Magazine, 1881.

House crap tomorrow, but fishing likely on Sunday, which I think might be great with a storm approaching; I feel it in my bones.
