It took me 1 hr 45 min. to get home from the Habratory tonight...usually a 50 min ride. Traffic doing 25 on rt 95 ice under snow and blowing sideways . I t was cool on top o' the Newport Bridge though .

No real accumulation here, but it hit around noon, and every a-hole immediately left work early. End result, jammed roads, no way for the plows and salt trucks to do their thing, evening commute was a living hell

I was in 4wd the whole way and averaging 25-30. Lost count of the spinouts, 75% of which were SUVs.

They say it was real bad in NJ and that I-95 was a parking lot from Greenwich to Bridgeport.

Glad she was ok. Driving got really nasty last nite. I made a trip over to Walpole (about 9 miles) and when I was ready to leave it was white out. Took 50 minutes to get home with a stop every mile to clean off the wiper blades, All season blades my arse.

I was mental

After getting what frozen cars we could get inside my 45 to 50 minute commute home from Walpole (Hi Dave!) took almost two full hours..... some moron/overly cautious/just plain scared driver had that gap to go by plows....two to the right then a bit further two to the left.... that driver decided to go 15 mph and not pass the first set of plows after miles of horn honking and lights flashing a few of us directly behind got by with a move Belichek would have been proud of.... What a frigging nightmare commute that was!

AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Any herring yet?

My sources tell me that the Herring have taken a detour and have firmly settled into St Croix.
This &^%$ Winter just will not quit. Started shoveling at 4:00 AM this morning. 10 right now in NW RI with the wind blowing 50 MPH.

No boat, back in the suds.

Generally I get up at 545 and go to the gym before work, this AM I woke up, heard the wind, turned on the news and stayed in bed till 7...

Get to work and since I walk about 10min from my car to my office every monring; for 10min I think I was legally a women, took an hour for the boys to drop back out... Even though I watched the weather this AM, I vastly underestimated the cold when I left the house this morning.... what a dum-bass

Someone back me up on this, but the last few cold winters the spring run in NJ has been steller, and sucked up here... lets hope thats not the case.... 67 days till the big girls should be here....

and P, quit your whining, you know living in Snowiville you always get the worst of it...

Bry. If you are right, I will head for NJ. I will not be denied my first keeper by tax day.

Suppose to snow and blow all weekend. You still want to fish Carpenters Sat night?

No boat, back in the suds.
