I gotta say I watched those Steeler teams and.......they would have taken todays teams apart! Not for nothing but slow????? Lynn Swan was an awesome reciever....and quick with great hands......Bradshaw was no slouch ch#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&g the ball either! The defense.....well......they were the iron curtain and probably the best ever!

Nuff said about them!

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

"We spent more days in first place" Sound familiar??

I am a pats fan but I would take the Patriots over the steelers because they have more upside. Ben or Brady...I think the choice is easy.

How can you say that Ben came out of college and was thrown into the starting role, now if he takes this team to the SB for the next 3 years and wins is it such an easy choice? Minus tonights game Bens QB rating is far better than Brady we'll see how he holds up tomorrow

Last year Manning had 50+ touchdowns and what did that get him?? Stats mean NOTHING, wins DO!

Brady and the pats are PROVEN winners until Ben wins he CANNOT compare to Brady.

If Pitt fires Cowher they get to the next level.

If you guys would look you may have noticed Bill Cowher has never had a quality QB we'll see if he can't get it done this year or next then your definately onto something. Just look at Bill B how many years did he suck as head coach and even lowly Bill C owned his azz, so things can change

No if they were balanced they would have won more games...can Ben carry the steelers...I dont think so.

The pats were balanced and won last year...Dillon had 1600+yds

And Brady wasn't???? Brady was getting gatorade for the players until Bledsoe went down...and then he was presented with an opportunity.....and the rest is history......NFL Record 10 Playoff game win streak, 3 superbowl ring, 2 time Superbowl MVP, History.

Even though it Irks you to no end.....Brady is already in the record Books as one of the best and will tap dance his way into the Hall of Fame.

Thats also a Pretty BIG if.....why don't we cross that bridge when it happens....Right now he still needs to win those 3 superbowls before we can even consider having that argument

Until Pittsburgh Wins the Superbowl (3 Times) Everything you say anything Comparing Big Ben to Brady sounds like a Charlie Brown Adult....Womp Womp Womp.....Womp

and QB Rating means Diddly.....ask Manning if it does.....he's still looking for his 1st ring

"If you're arguing with an idiot, make sure he isn't doing the same thing."

Holy cow Vector,
I got up early this morning and turned on my computer while watching saltwater Sun. morning on ESPN
and I could not believe how many post you made last night after the game!!!
You would think the Steelers beat the Pats last night, and not the Bronkos !!!
If anything, this loss by the Pats just makes things worse for the Steelers today!!!
The one team the Colts feared playing has allways been the Pats!!!
Now they don't have to worry about them and they will be more confident than ever!!!
The Colts are going to kick your Steelers asses today !!!!!

Any moron knows football is a team sport.Individual stats mean nothing.to say Rothlisberger is no good is also a joke.Their are alot of NFL teams would love to have em.Brady has showed unbelievable poise in his short time in the NFL.Put him on the jets an see what happens.Them other guys in the credit card commercials have something to do with his success.then they get a guy like c dillon.one of the best rb's in the nfl.Bill does it with mirrors Troy Brown as a db.He pulled it out of his butt again this yr.an would have won the game again last night. The ball just didn't bounce their way.A very uncharacteristc 5 turnovers.Vinateri even missed a fg.A bad penalty call.I remember a bad ref call a few yrs ago against the raiders started thier run.Tuck rule..what goes around comes around I guess.I was rootin for em.Can u say Kisss of death.

Yea kitna didn't give em much chance. just goes to show how valuable QB's are in this league. If I remember correctly the Steelers have a few of them crystal footballs. An as much as I hate sgt slaughter jaw cowher.the guy gets his club in the mix.He did it wit Neil O'Donnel an was inches from a super bowl vs the Titans.Or was it the oilers then.

No , that was Dallas who kick their asses in that super bowl!!!
And it was Neil O'Donnel who made cornerback Larry Brown look like Mike Haynes that day!!!
And unfortunately for my Raiders, (who had both Brown & Haynes play cornerback for them ),
That was the best day of Larry Brown's life !!!

For having 45 starter/games out, I think they had a hell of a season. They did play some stupid football last night, that's for sure. They also didn't get the breaks and they did get two real bad calls. Pass interference? Yuh, Offensive. And the maybe touchback . well that pick never shoulda happened in the first place. They did play crappy and it cost them. But they still made the playoffs.
