My 30 hp ob is secured with a slide bar and padlock. It may not be a big deal, but it would take longer and be noiser to remove. For short money it may give you some peace of mind in the future. I'm really psyched you got your engine back quickly and undamaged- and the vermin will have a felony conviction haunting his lowly carcass for life.
