OMG ... how longs it take to get through that rotation ? and how many times ?...I have to calm down with 5 tubes .. I can get 3 needles in 1 tube. I can get 3 swimmers in one tube rapala, redfin, rebel fish types those and 2 black sluggo's in front flap are with me all the time . That leaves 3 tubes for for what ever I feel like tossing ,, Jigman spook is always with me too ,,takes up no room .. Any leftover cracks get another needle jammed in there..Havn't been carrying metal lately . Its close by if I want it .

Dave, that's the way a plug bag is supposed to look. If you leave any room, then the fish are gonna want the one you didn't jam in there

Must look like a barrel of monkeys when you take one out and they are all attached to each other. P.

too much here too.

I have way too much crap but since I am a crappy fisherman I dont know what I really need.

I will say that my only keepers have been on mack and clam chunks on big hooks. I have had luck once with plugs -- looked at a spot on the canal and decided that a grey/silver mambo was the way to go. then I worked it for about 10 minutes, watching it swim in towards me and watching as the schoolies followed it right up to me. I kept working it till I figured out what to do to hook one.

What I want is to weed my bag down to bare essentials and learn precicely when, where and how to use them.

There is a fine line that seperates a fisherman from a fool standing in water swinging a stick.

will cook for food
...and plugs

i thought i was doing my back a favor when i bought a single row at the end of june.... after this weekend i'll never carry less than "50 lbs" again. the problem wasnt necessarily the amount (lack) of plugs but all the "extras" that i can't fit in the smaller bag..... box of teasers, casting eggs, leader wallet, bunker snaggers and the list goes on.....

It isn't too bad. I wear carpenters bags at work all day and they weigh more than the plug bag. I do get the "barrel of monkeys" effect as the night wears on. I am going to Cutty this weekend and started to fill my BIG bag (carries 4 or 5 large plano boxes) That bag gets heavy. Still undecided on bringing it or just stuffing this one again.
