Funny, I was going to post the same thing. It was sorta like that 70's movie " Day of the Trifids" or something like that. Lost count over how many wishes I got, birthday presents, solving world hunger, peace, just to name a few.
They were intense, like bottle rockets on the 4th. Not just in one area of the sky.
The only other time I expereinced anything else like that was out on the vineyard in the mid 90's. So many shooting stars. Way too many to count.
BTW, I was fishing central CT this am when I saw them.

Think about it...we have to source the finest abrasion resistant cashmere and pima cotton, advertise, get wholesale orders in, start manufacturing runs at our Italian plant and deliver product to stores all before the spring run.
To be competitive you must be well ahead of the ball, and trust me, the high fashion surfcasting industry is cutthroat.

WeeWee - Saturday AM was significantly more loaded then Sat night. I saw some at night but at Oh Dark Thirty Saturday morn you would see several just during the course of a single retrieve... The only thing missing was the Quonny Northern Lights that happens on ccccoooollddd October deepnights

I was out early saturday morning as well. Windy as heck too, but I wasnt even thinking about it staring at the sky. Lost my balance a few times gazing up and almost ended up in the drink. It took a few hours but I was finally rewarded with a nice keeper.

We were at the Wellfleet Drive-in one night watching "The Deep" and the meteors were coming from behind the screen. You could hear "OOOHs ans AAAAAHs" from all over the lot and it wasn't over Bissett's wet T-shirt.

I was walking away from my friend on the beach , saw this flash from behind me and heard him yell, That thing was bright even looking away from it!!! There was another that trailed out for a long time, probably 4 seconds or so, I almost felt like I was in that Tacoma commercial it came so close.
