Without getting into great detail Dave managed to stop the forward motion of a crowbar with his skull last evening, requiring 13 stitches and likely resulting in one helluva headache. He was confronted and blindsided by someone (said someone since picked up by the Five'Oh) at his home.

In all seriousness, I was told this morning that it was a very nasty hit, but he says he is OK and that it could have been a lot worse.
