the full moon looks orange sometimes when it rises because the light has to pass through more of the atmosphere then when the moon is higher in the sky. the blue light waves scatter but the red light waves pass through...... if you were wondering.

if I could ...my late grandfather and Mr.Habs.Two people that are sorely missing in my heart.
of living legends...The Bomba brothers and that whole so-b crew from Cutty last fall
to have more fun should be illegal
Steve McKenna and #^^^^& "does bucktails really work" are always a pleasure
MAC would be a certain pleasure as would PeteG and Joe Lyons.Pat abate from Rivers End...haven't got a chance to wet a line with him this year at Montauk but I am hoping this year....same for Al Bentsen
Two true living legends

It's hard to say, I've fished with many, and have had a BLAST.
But if there were anyone, it would be my dad. His physical condition is not too good. But I would love to bring him out to my favorite spot in SoCo, if you know me, you know the spot. Just one time. Dad would have a BLAST, for sure.

Rock On
Mickey Melchiondo (Dean Ween) and Eric Clapton. Mickey is an avid striper fisherman in NJ and Eric has taken up fly fishing. Discussiing fishing and music while fishing would be my choice.

He will only be 2 this summer, but never too young to start.

Good call on Deaner.
I ate pizza next to him and Gene one night in 1996 in Anadale, NJ...has no idea it was them (right near where they recorded the Pod).
He'd be awesome to fish with, saw him play last month, he still rocks!!! Unbelievable solo during "Voodoo Lady."
Man, still great to rock out with the Ween, even if you're old like me!
Later,
Rick
And yes, GCABO, you'll be on a Bomba mission soon...probably easier too hook up with me as my brother never crosses the 495 line!

nice, lookin forward to it. especially since you referred to it as a mission. we use the same philosophy. i got plans to hit up nahant this year too. my girl(? its complicated) lives up there. so every time we hung out over the summer i was scopin out spots. she amazingly never got annoyed when she was talking and i would randomly blurt out "i wish i had my gear. that spot looks awesome!". theres one specific spot i really really wanna hit up there.

I'd like to fish with just about all of you here on the board as you are most all "new to me". Larry, let's make it a point to do a little "boating" on the Westport River this year. Who knows, we may even run into a Bass or two!
Happy New Year, Al

I'm looking forward to fishing with my dad and uncle more this year, and I hope to get my son out on my dads boat with us. He'll be 3 1/2 this spring, so he's still too young to take out at night from the surf. I'd also like to fish with guys (and gals) from this site this year. I've run into a few guys in the past, but would like to plan some trips with some of you "sharpies".

Belichick, after slamming monster fish all day with Brady:
"It was a good day, we got some fish, it was not like we set the world record."
Long pause.
"There were some weaknesses, we did not really execute all three phases of fishing as well as I would like to see, so there are some things to work on this upcoming week."
Another long pause.
"But, it was a good trip." "We'll take it and put it behind us and concentrate on the next trip."
A flash of a half-smile that quickly tuns into a look of disdain, then turns and walks off the podium.

Jerry Sylvester and Charlie Murat.... but I'm not ready to travel to them yet. So until then, I'd like to fish with these two more often than I got to last season.
