I have been hating myself pretty bad for the last few weeks of eating (nevermind the last few years)and just validated it on the scale. I am even forgoing the "ladies option" just so I can shame myself openly and turn that into motivation to loose!

...ok...here goes......a dose of tough love for myself!

I am in at the big 200 even

Some motivation for the portly anglers

Some motivation for the portly anglers

In the running.........as of 4/15

Fishsmith - 185 --> 160
Down 15 lbs
Down 8.1%

Johnny Ducketts - 218 --> 204
Down 14 lbs
Down 6.4%

Zacs - 271 --> 223
Down 48 lbs
Down 17.7%

The Dad Fisherman - 266 --> 234
Down 32lbs
Down 12.0%

Scone - 267 --> 219
Down 48 lbs
Down 18.0%

Adam 777 - 229.5 --> 189
Down 40.5lbs
Down 17.6%

<cue final countdown music>
It is a close race, with only a couple more days to go..... I am still shedding pounds, but had a little bump entertaining some customers for a few days... but I am back on track and should finish strong.

This has been great motivation for me, and I am so excited we all did this. Maybe we can all get together in May for a (not so) portly anglers fishing trip.

If anyone would like to take the "Lady Angler" option just Say "I'm In with the Lady Angler Option" when they enter, then they can just PM me their starting weight and their updates and I will just post your Percentages only at the update intervals.

4. On the 1st and 15th of every month post how much you've lost and we'll figure out what your percentage is.

Scone - 267
Spinncognito - 241
Adam 777 - 229.5

Too late to get in on the "Chub Club"?
I was talking to Larry today. Told him how my wife and I bought an elyptical trianer for ourselves for Christmas. I've already started in on it. He suggested I try to get in on this.
I thought I was just bloated from water weight. Maybe I'm just bloated.
I'm just about to the point of needing a new scale At 270lbs., I give you; FatBob

Just got back from the Doc's and received the great news that I am prediabeticoke: Doc says if I loose 30 pounds and workout I can avoid the needle ,so that seems to be as good an incentive as ever
245 looking for 185. Let the games begin

Come on people, this isn't rocket science

1) Eat less carbs and stuff your face with veggies
2) Eat early and not late
3) Don't dink too much, but if you do stay away from beer
4) Get off your ass and exercise, any exercise will do

That's all it really takes in my book. I've started my own plan to drop about 20 this spring but I ain't joining the game. I'd get crushed hanging around with this crew

Wow for one Spence and I are on the same page! It's quite simple if you think about it. I'm a solid 170 and hit the gym every other day, i enjoy lifting weights so it helps to find something i enjoy doing excercise wise, me and cardio dont get along, but i still force myself to do a good mile or so when i'm at the gym. Makes you feel so alive after a good run!
