remember what i said
at plugfest -to you and Nightfighter
about the getting into trouble age...
i'm so sorry this happened to your son...Larry
may he have a speedy recovery
and have no complications.
I can understand your son's feeling's because
as a kid we were playing "sliding" on the linoleum
in our socks and i slid my younger brother who could
barely walk then and i broke his leg doing it...
so trust me.... i know...

When we were kids, we were banned from watching The Three Stooges after my brother whacked me in the head with a hammer. I still use that as a rational for my behaviors today...
Good luck with your son. Childrens is a great hospital and they will take good care of him.

Larry, thoughts and prayers. I think back to when I was a little younger, and it is a miracle something like this never happened with me and my younger brother. He is in good hands in Boston, the finest care you can get. They took good care of me a month back. Best wishes to your family, and I hope for a speedy recovery.

I hope for the best for your son Larry. Luckily kids are a lot tougher than grownups. Hopefully this will just be a little story to jest about very soon. Will say a prayer for him.

Sorry to hear about your youngest's condition and am hoping and praying for a quick and speedy recovery and that the doctors at Children's will take the least invasive and most effective course of treatment. May God grant you strength and peace, as well Larry. Likewise for the rest of the boys' family. God's Courage to your injured Son. And may the Forgiveness of Christ, Our Lord, find your eldest's heart.
My younger brother and i are 13 months apart. YUP! Irish twins.
One of my dad's best lines was, "BOYS! I don't care who started it, STOP it right now ~before I FINISH IT!!" which was often followed by, "For Cripes Sake, you two hellians would fight about the time of day!!!!" Retired Marine Corps Seargent and small town cop. We didn't let him finish too many of our battles .
Wish you the best with the disciplinary part of that dynamic. My bro and i fought into our late twenties. We would've killed for each other, so long as we didn't KILL each other, first ........................

You know how it is......worry, worry, worry! I tell you though you walk the halls at Childrens Hospital......and you count every one of lifes blessings! Sad, sad place. Children have no business being sick like that.

Glad to hear the good news Big Larr!
There is Real Power in purposefull prayer.
Remember how resilient we were, when we were that age?
Didn't know then that it would take me my whole life before i'd feel
the aches and pains of me youth .
