An almost new Abu 6500C3. Spooled with red PowerPro 50#.

I bought it new at Boaters World last Sept and used it on my boat twice. Never even been wet

Skitter was nice to me regarding something I'll not go into but I would like to repay his kindness.

Bart, let me know how to handle this. Auction, outright sale. PM me.

No boat, back in the suds.

Bart here:

Auction: A tuna trip for 2 people in August, September, or October with me on my boat. I will take care of the bait, gas, etc. You take home all the fish I'll even cut it up for you. All you have to do is enjoy the day and hopefully reel in charlie tuna. No trips during the full moon because the fishing sucks. We will fish east of Chatham and leave early and return in the afternoon sometime. We will agree on a date that is good for all of us. Bid it up high for a good cause. If we dont catch a tuna fish I will take you out again on me. -Matt

Sorry, I don't think I was quite clear with my initial response. That's kind of what I was thinking MIke, smaller separate auctions, except hopefully there won't be just one bid for each of the items. But I'm open to other ideas as well, anything that will get Skitter the most money. I'm just waiting for some of the stuff to get here before I start posting auction threads.

John- that is very generous of you. Thank you very much.

Matt(keeperreapper)- Wow, what can I say. That is one hell of a contribution. If anyone doesn't know by now, Matt is a tuna master. He will definitely put you on fish. Lets really try and raise some good money for this one.

Thanks again everyone and keep the donations coming! Even if you don't have anything to contribute you could always throw in a couple bucks to help me ship all this stuff out when I get it.

Thanks again!

Rob

Hello Everyone!

I'm sorry if you haven't heard back from me, just walked in the door to find some really great donations already here! Please give me a little while to respond back to you if you've PM'd me, I should have everything squared away in a couple hrs. Thanks for your patience.

Can someone please tell me who sent the very nice Gibbs style pencils(yellow and white)? I couldn't make out the handwriting.

Thanks again guys!

Bart, I will pick something up this weekend and forward it to your home for the raffle - as a diabetic of 30 years, I have an idea of what he could be going through.

Hey Everyone-
I think that we are all set with donations at this point. If you would still like to make a donation you can mail Mike a check/MO directly, I can give you his information. I know that some people just sent out a few goodies as of yesterday so obviously I will post them and any other donation I receive as as they arrive. I still have a couple items here that I need to put up as well.

I just want to thank everyone here on S-B who either bid or donated in some way. I know from speaking with Mike, your contributions have really helped him out a lot. Once the auctions are over, I will figure out how much money we raised and write a more thorough synopsis of this whole experience. Thanks once again to everyone who helped out!
