I caught the show last week as well. I was hoping that he would keep teasing Todd Ricci so much that the expatsie would pick him up by the collar and launch his ass into Boston Harbor. Splash...I could hear Charlie now not missing a beat.."Well Ricci just tossed me into the water..where the fish actually live.

I took a look, and other than how he looks like a Hyde Pahk punk (a jab at our few H.P. members ) - it wasn't that bad. ALthough he doesn't impress me with his ability to play a fish - even those little ones were killing him
OK - Who wants to start a S-B TV show? Start with all-access and move to the big time quickly??

"I see the pic's u people post of the fish[girls] to skinny not enough meat on their bones" CS - what the hell are you talking about ?
That show is on most nites (I've ben ignoring it, may start to do so again unless I see some improvement). Seems to be mostly on NESN Mondays & Sundays 8-9, Wed 4-5 ...
I'm goning to see a few more episodes before I make my mind up but I have not been impressed yet by his angling skills, and without the added scenery some shows carry to make up for lack-o-skill, well....

HA! The more I see... the more I dislike.
Oh well... to each his/her own!
Still beats watching "Friends" though!

I have a weak spot for the "mad fisherman". In fact, I'd say that it's my favorite fishing show by a long shot. Sure, the guy's a braindead M@@@@@@@, but at least he gives you something to laugh at (himself) during the show. You get a little more than the standard "oooh...she's a beaut" and "gotta love (insert current five-star exotic fishing locale)". You definitely have to put up with a little his annoyingness, but EVERYWHERE HE FISHES IS IN NEW ENGLAND. You don't have to hop on a plane to get to where he's casting. Sometimes, you've fished right where he's going, and caught bigger fish. All said, the guy's a whack job, but his fishing show gives me more of what I want than any other.
I also have a nice new digital video camera, and am expecting the necessities to edit and make movies with my pc for Christmas. Originally, it was mainly going to be used to make a snowboard video. However, now I have visions of pitching a surfcasting fishing show to NESN. Just kidding, but a fishing movie will be happening.
Hmmm...even better...we could have everybody send their footage to me, and I'll make the "Striped-Bass.com Presents: Striper Booty" video. Everybody gets their own 5-7 minute montage complete with requested "theme" music. Throw in some footage of the four legger. Maybe even a Geraldo like segment where we crack open BM's mancave like Al Capone's vault...Worth a thought.

Hehehe - Or it could be like that one on Egypt that so far has turned up empty
There is such cool surfcasting coverage to take place and the only one I saw getting close to surf coverage was Al Gag's with ESPN and his show never materialized.
But I've been toying with getting some footage with people on this site to put something together. Nothing like what FishEye does but something that demonstrates what we have going here - would be pretty stinkin' cool. But I refuse to stand behind the camera all of the time

John...Sorry about the other name for..errr...Massachusetts residents. I didn't know how that was going to fly, but you're talking about the same thing as me. Nothing professional, just a cool video of what you've got going here. As for camera time, it all about the tripod these days.

Hey Don - I use that term all the time as even though I now live in the Great Ocean State, I too, am a Ma$$hole - The board automatically bleeps out the last 7 letters of the name as it does with B@@@@@@@ or @@@@@@@s or anything like that - don't worry ...
Now, where are you from originally so we can make fun of that ?

Yep - something to put together and dump to DIVX CD and maybe even DVD... Just a thought
What I would like to get is some stuff like:
Fishing off Cuttyhunk
GS working his jerks off the Ledges of the South Shore (this should be something that Fish_Eye gets together with GS and film underwater for his videos)
Clammer and his patented &%$(#) magic (like that's gonna happen - that secret ain't getting out)
Some Ditch Jigging with the Ditch Crew (scenery omitted to protect the spots)
FW & BC with the light tackle & teaser rigs plus Boston Harbor
A long Walk
The Legs
BM, his pants, and the CCNS
Some Rod building, some plug building -
Other interesting methods / locales without giving up the world...
Stuff like that...

This "little something" sounds like it would sell about 2,000 copies to the striper fishing community. With all that you've listed, I think we'd need Industrial Light & Magic to come in and clean up the background to protect the locations.
We should talk more as the season apporaches. It seems as though you could have a season's worth of footage over a season. Maybe some toggin with bloo, and little tunny fishin' too.
PS: I'm a Ma$$hole too. Grew up in Arlington, but college in Atlanta took the edge off.

Crack Attack...
I think he's on drugs myself. I have seen him fish with Tim Coleman, Capt. Al Anderson, Drew Bledsoe and many more celebs and fishing personalities. Now only if we can get him to not repeat himself every other sentence hmmmmm.

Charlie Moore may be an aggrivating fool, but he is on TV and getting paid. I am jealous. I still hate him. Ok I need therapy.

I left a message with the producers at NESN Outdoors and........I'm trying to talk them into having John R as a guest.
I suggested having John and Charlie fishing the Thames River in febuary out of Charlie's bass ranger. Ya never know they might go for it!
