There's no Room in Tuscany....

My Ideal job would be Brewmeister at a Golf Course on the Cape....Brew some, Quick nine and off to the surf for some fishin'

I keep thinking of the J. Giles song " I must have got lost, somewhere down the line"
What happened was you grew up and joined the rat race. It's easy to live simply and carefree when it's just the 2 of you. You come and go as you please. If you want to sleep until noon after being out late drinking, you do it. When you have a kid or kids, you're whole life changes. You suddenly have to be more responsible and think about someone other than yourself.

Conservatism is not about leaving people behind. Conservatism is about empowering people to catch up, to give them tools at their disposal that make it possible for them to access all the hope, all the promise, all the opportunity that America offers. - Marco Rubio

people know how to drive on Italy. On the highways, you pass and then move to the right, no cruising in the passing lane. People go 100+ and then move out of the left lane. I loved it.
Haven't been to europe. Wine country was the most relaxing trip I've ever been on besides my honeymoon to Hawaii.
There's a great little place less than one hour from where I live that fits the bill too. You can't hear anything but the wildlife....no trains, cars, etc. Don't want to burn it though....

Spent the weekend in Maine and In a perfect world I would be able to split the summer on the ocean and the winter in Maine. Went up to a buddy's house for some trail work for the snowmobile club. It always amazes me how nice the people are up there. A lot more willing to lend a hand to strangers. Wife and I got a little lost trying to find a certain snowmobile bridge on a private dirt road and when we turned around a worker was coming down to check us out and see what we were doing. I explained why we were up there and he no lie said in true Mainer Fashion " You can't get there from here". He asked if I knew the other way in and I said no. He said well then follow me.
