taint time to ice fish ,taint time to trout fish ,,taint time to stripe bass fish ,,,or anything thing about fishing here on old cape cod ...i hate this time of year .....sooo i guess its up to the salmon river for a battle of the steelhead blues ......very soon

I use shiners preferably......you don't like shiners? I am hoping for a warm up next week. I got 2 days off late next week and am dying to get out...even for trout! (Not big on trout fishing)

There was over 2 feet of ice a week ago at my hole in Lee, and still about a foot on the Oxbow in Holyoke last weekend.

taint.... that kind of profaine thread...tis a way to vent the do nothing blues.. n j 2 or 3 fish a day on power bait ain't me.. i fish hardwear or flys only .i'll wait 2-3more wks but i'm going to pulaski first....
