Harvest time

This is probably my best year ever for blueberries. All this rain is just the ticket for the berries and I haven't had any problems with Japanese beetles this year as in drier years past. In dry years the berries tend to be smaller but this year most are as big or bigger than large grapes. Only bad thing so far this year is my stupid cat ruined my brand new netting trying to get in and kill a bird stuck in there. I hate that damn cat.

Tomatoes are coming in . Most are looking good , but 3 of the 8 have a fungal blight pretty bad. Its funny the san fransico fog plant that is supposed to be great in cloudy wet summers is doing the worst. I always expect a decent amount of fungal diseases on my heirlooms by this time of year though being so close to the water. heres some paul robeson

The ferns and hydrangeas around the fish pond really liked the rain. As did the 3 magnolia trees.
