very interesting
as a point of clarification~~~although i believe and attend church
and tithe and share the Gospel and am one who prays often~~~
this story is not about me, nor whether or not i lead that good of a Life.
it is more ABOUT Who i believe in, God, and my relationship with Him.
while "karma/mojo/do unto others" is a true and amazing
principle of the universe~~~when you cling to the old rugged Cross,
heavy as it may be; He lessens thy burdens, He lifts you UP, and He is
ever Faithful,,,,,,,,,,,,seperate from me and my shortcomings and based NOT on what i do, but absolutely because of what He DID and my connection to Him by Father/Creator, Son/Word, and Spirit/Prayer.
not meaning to preach, gents, just would like to make a CLEAR distinction between luck, karma, and being held in the Almighty and Everlasting Hands of God! which for me and my Life is bigger, more original, and far more intimate than karma or luck,,,,,,,,,,,
~~Scotty~~ i'd be happy to share a BIG take like that!!

How come God didn't just tell you to get off the rock before the wave came and save all the trouble?

seriously, i only felt "troubled" for the first 90 mins,,,,,,,,,,,,,
then, i sort of "let go, and let God" do HIS thing.
and by Faith, did He Supremely deliver!??!

THAT, right there, God giving us our Free Will even after He is with us and we are in Him,
THAT is what amazes me the most!!! when we FALL short, don't always listen, ignore Him completely, and when we get stuck in the miry clay of our prodigal digression ~He is the first One to meet us THERE,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,whenever, wherever, however far from or close to Him we may be!!! because, as humans, He knows we ain't always going to make the right CHOICE! and He still LOVES us beyond what we could ever comprehend,,,,,,,,,,,,
He affords us the priveleges of Grace; which are ~~Election, Salvation, Forgiveness, Justification, Reconcilliation, Righteousness, Sanctification, and the luxuries of Time and Free Will; simply ~~the will to choose Him or Hell, to choose blessing over cursing, to choose Forgiveness vs Vengeance as a daily, and hopefully closer, walk with HE,,,,,,,,once we believe AND the Time to come to that place of Believing. AMAZING, GRACE IS!!!
besides,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,hasn't He ALWAYS had a special purpose and place in His Heart for Fishermen?
