Yeah, eddie - the mind starts writing checks the body can't cash
Hey, don't get too concerned - it's all a part of growing up...
I just hope I can still get around as good as you do when I'm your age...
Just kiddin', amigo - it still beats the crap out of the alternative...

And one more thing that disappointed me is that 5/0 never gave me the recipe for his wife's pasta salad and I'm still looking in my email everyday for the fish chowdah recipe

no real regrets here. didn't catch as much as i would have liked, but i got out when i could (which was a decent amount) and feel like i caught what i could. some years are always going to be better in terms of size and numbers, its part of fishing in general and especially surf fishing where so much is out of our control. found a few new spots, one of which produced a fish in the mid 40s which was right around my previous PB. i feel like the weather had a serious impact on how often and how effectively i was able to fish this year, but you can't really regret the weather.

My annual trip in the fall on my buddies boat, southern Maine, mid September.. Every year it's lit up with striper action. This year not one fish. Other than that, it was a fun year striper fishing.

I hope they were tuna...
my biggest regret of the season was not getting out in the boat with my dad at all this season.
I also did not spend enough time fishing with a few other people that I should have taken the opportunity to get out there with.
Personally when I did get out there I was pretty satisfied, lost a few nice ones but that's what keeps us coming back...caught my personall best then beat that the same night.

Like many others... Not going fishing as much as I hoped to. When I had some time during the summer, it was slooow. In the fall, with kids activities and all, only made it out a handful of times.
