Darelle Revis
cornerback on the Jets, really good football player, and up until this morning I thought he was respectful.
I was watching the NFL channel this AM and Neon Dion was interviewing him and asked for one word when he names some names.
Dion - T. Owens Revis says slouch
Dion - Moss Revis says cryface slouch
First off those 2 are no slouches
second what a dis on national TV
How cocky is that?
he has to play those guys twice a year each
The other names Dion named, Revis said reasonable things, but Moss and T.O. nope, he disses them.
WOW
what the hell was he thinking?
I am trying to see how many times he makes a play today.

I respect his game. But to dis 2 of the NFL's top receivers is an insult not only to them personally but to the NFL as well. These 2 men are already in the HOF. Revis is just a sophmore.

wow. i don't care how great they are. why should Revis kiss ass? the NFL is a tough league to play in. he's arguably one of the best right now. what has TO done against him? Moss? i guess he feels he can back it up. in my humble opine, he dissed one nit-wit and one guy who learned to play "good guy" when confronted w/ one of the leauges best coaches/franchises ever. no biggie. go derrelle!

Nobody said kiss ass......but how about showing a little humility. There were a Lot of great players that came before him that didn't feel the need to trash talk.
also here's a novel Idea....how about actually WIN something before you start trash talking. Why do you think people actually put up with Micheal Irvin over Terrell Owens......

Gotta be a Jets fan, just as ignorant as one should. Did you get your pom-poms and start you J-E-T-S chant too? I wonder why Deon didn't say Reggie Wayne... Maybe because Peyton would make Revis eat his words. They all seem to do when they open their mouths.

Those 2 prob. really got under his skin.
Not to switch subjects but I always laugh when someone guarantees a win and the other teams says it fired them up. Every player should guarantee wins in every game (respectfully). I'd say were going 16 -0. If we loose the first game, we're going 15 -1.

Moss and TO brag a lot - did you see TO at the Australian open last night?
Those 2 haven't won anything - correct? I guess that means Revis can bag on them, let their 34 year old bodies go up against his 25 year old body next year and see if anything changes. Intimidation is part of the game like running up the score - remember that?
Just because Moss is a Patriot doesn't mean he is a likeable guy. Look at his career - he is a jerk and not a HOF.

and Michael Irvin was a saint right? come on! Tell me he would not be one of the leading vote getter in getting into the HOF? You don't think he'll get in because he's a jerk lol???? He's in the top of virtually every WR category. but your right he won't get in. Running up the score hmmmm. ok... Bill should have pulled every guys off the field right!? Wait a minute they are playing another PROFESSIONAL TEAM. They get paid million and millions of dollars to stop the OFFENSE. What is Bill supposed to do not have his team perform so that they can get hurt???

I never defended Moss or TO..I think they are both a couple of Blow-Hards.....at least Moss has been keeping his mouth shut here.....
Its a Wide Receiver thing I guess...they all got to be punks.

1 point I wish to clarify:
Irvin belongs in the HOF because he won 3 SB's .Yes he also was jerk, but Moss and TO haven't won anything.

So I guess Dan Marino, and Jim Kelly don't belong in the HOF either no SB to their credits either.

Well with your logic the HOF would be missing a lot of great players then. Just off the top of my head........Barry Sanders, Earl Campbell, Eric #^^^^&erson, Bruce Smith. Dumb logic.
I guess Curtis Martin won't be hearing his phone ring any time soon, then.

Jets -Colts
I don't know about you guys, but I am pulling for the Jets to win this one. I would like to see this come back and bite Caldwell in the ass for laying down against them at the end of the season and letting them in, funny how karma works....

He is a great cover corner. One of the best of his time thus far but he couldn't carry Deion Sanders laundry.

Deion got burned just as much as he shined......He was all about the INT and return than making sure the guy didn't catch the ball or advance the ball.

Deion also had a bad habit of disappearing on sweeps and other running plays. As much as he hated to tackle a 230 lb RB, he hated getting blocked by a 320 pound guard even more
Revis looks like a guy who isn't afraid to stick his head in there and make a stick, in the few Jets games I saw this season.

I think he's pretty accurate
T .Owens has more god given talent than most players but he's an unbalanced, narcistic, crybaby.
He has a bad habit of throwing his QB's under the bus.
Don' t you remember when Moss was a Viking?? He'd take off any play he was not the #1 rec. Talent -yes Heart -no
Sure he may have changed a bit .
