A few bad apples always spoil the bunch. In this day and age there are too many jerks out there to let one win this easily.

I say you out him, then he will have his scarlett letter to deal with.

I pegged you for thicker skin than that Larry. Especially after putting your wood talent out against competitors. That business can't be easy.

This has echo's of a certain someone I remember saying that about a year ago.

I say stay when the votes are - everyone to 3 - I think it apparent you're wanted, welcomed and loved.

So grump all you want as far as I'm concerned.

Grumpy....

For chrissakes, Larry you're like the chairman of the friggin' Sunshine Committee around here...well, sort of, if you want to compare yourself to most of the rest of us...

Anyway, gettin' your grump on when it's warranted is cathartic, man...dude, be proud, stand up and embrace your inner need to vent

That's what the GOP forum is for

As for the whiner, tell him to poop in his hat and pull it over his ears

There - now that's grumpy

"There is no royal road to this heavy surf-fishing. With all the appliances for comfort experience can suggest, there is a certain amount of hard work to be done and exposure to be bourne as a part of the price of success." From "Striped Bass," Scribner's Magazine, 1881.

Yeah, that's the way it's pronounced on the Italian side of the Alps.

Actually, it came from a headline I recently came across in a 50-year-old issue of the LA Times:

HENRY FONDA DUE FOR AN OSCAR FOR PERFORMANCE IN MR. ROBERTS.

Larry, I haven't been around here long enough to find out who the real SOB's are, but if you're half as mean as someone apparently thinks you are, come on down to Weekapaug in the fall and we can take turns throwing tourists off the jetty. I know it always cheers me up.

Maybe all that Larry needs is to go for a Walkabout? The goal of the walkabout being to hit all the B&T's in RI/MA/CT before April 1.

Someone's bidding on a fondue? or maybe someone is fond of fondue? Or was that bidding a fond adieu?

Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn.

I think we need to send out an emergency call to Larry Dahlberg, he's the expert in the "Hunt for BigFish"!

On a side note: is there a record for the most views in a period of time? This post only started 7hrs ago and already has 540 views, that 78 views/hour.

Must be Larry doing what he said he would do: "So, for awhile, I will be absent from here! I will be lurking and not posting."
