Does anyone fish this often? Are we setting up just for trout? Or is there a halfway decent shot at a salmon? MW hasn't updated since 1998. Also how is the brown population?

Just a heads up............They are not gonna be getting much in the way of Salmon this year, maybe a dozen fish. Might be worth thinking bout a different place.

Have faith! I remember one of the years we were scared about Sturbridge. One of the reasons that we picked the location is that it is one of the first to freeze ponds in MA.

We'll be there. Kind of place where you can get not a flag all day and just when youre going to leave you get a 20lb Salmon on the line. Deep clean water. Some nice sized perch as well as some good sized bass but limited catches. This place gets a lot of pressure so if it is only 12 Salmon they will get caught pretty quick.
